Frequently Asked Questions about OxyData

Most of the other Oxygen Analysers use Electrochemical sensors, which use chemical+oxygen reaction to detect oxygen concentration, and during this process the chemical gets consumed and reduced, so the output changes continuously and that is why oxygen analyzers based on electrochemical sensors are required to be re-calibrated frequently and regularly, and also for the same reason once the chemical is consumed fully, the electrochemical sensor has to be replaced & if not re-calibrated or replaced in time, such oxygen analysers may give wrong measurement of oxygen purity.


In case of OxyData, oxygen concentration (oxygen purity) measurement is done through an Electronic sensor, which has a typical life of more than 5 years, and this sensor does not require re-calibration, so there is no hassle of re-calibration in Oxydata and also ensuring the correct measurement of Oxygen purity all the time.

 

Also most of the other oxygen analysers measure only oxygen purity, while OxyData can measure Flow rate, Pressure and temperature besides oxygen purity measurement.


Just like Oxygen Purity measurement, other sensors used in OxyData - for Flow rate, Pressure and Temperature are also electronic and have more than 5 years lifetime. And none of these sensors require re-calibration.

The warranty on the OxyData unit inclusive of all sensors is 24 months (2 years).

Being an electronic product, the typical life of an OxyData unit and the built-in sensors is more than 5 years.

Download the OxyData app from the google play store on your android mobile, for the first time grant the permissions like storage, wifi, etc. as per the request.
 
Switch on the OxyData device, then open the app on your android mobile, for the first time use, enter your name and other details, and you are ready to use the app. Depending upon the OxyData device model, you can see different parameters Live - Oxygen %, Flow Rate in LPM, Pressure in PSI, Temperature in Graphical as well as Numerical format.
      from the app, you can also set the alarm limits - High and Low of available parameters for the OxyData device. 
      From the app, you can also generate the current report and that report can be stored, shared or printed from your android mobile.
